ising magestically above the Missouri River, the Gasconade County Courthouse is the most important public building in our county. But the building has been sadly neglected and allowed to fall into disrepair.

Improvements are expensive, but history has proven cheaper isn’t always better. The plan shown here will enable us to pass this priceless legacy on to future generations. The additional land needed has been acquired through the generosity of private citizens.

The proposal calls for:

• A new three-story administration building with street-level entrance
• Total renovation of the historic courthouse building
• A wrap-around driveway and expanded parking
• Elevators
• Full ADA and building code compliance
